Daniel, Since find qualifiers are a fixed, though extensible, set of names, there seems to be no reason why they should be handled case-sensitive. While there is a differentiation between case-sensitive and case-insensitive matching of names in general (by using the caseSensitiveMatch and caseInsensitiveMatch), the application of this feature to find qualifiers seems to complicate things. Would "CASEiNSENSITIVEmATCH" be allowed, that is, does it apply to itself, etc.? IMO, it still makes sense for clients to be rigid in using case-sensitive values only, but for servers to be flexible in being case-insensitive. My feeling is that others operate similarly, although, certainly, alternative interpretation is possible. Specification text always maintains proper case when listing find qualifiers' short names. I wonder whether this implies that the authors intended for the find qualifiers to be case-sensitive. You skipped the "Alternatives Considered (optional)" section, so we have no way of knowing why you settled on the case-insensitive approach. Is it because the alternative is more restrictive than a spec reader's potential assumption?
