I don't think JAXR is strictly relevant in this discussion. JAXR is a
high level API for accessing registries in general including UDDI. What
we are currently discussing are WebService toolkits for generating
interfaces to WSDL defined WebServices.

Which makes me question whether JAX-RPC is applicable to any WS-I
compliant WebService (given that these are document/literal using full
XML Schema rather than RPC/SOAP Encoding), and I understand UDDI to be
WS-I compliant?
