Subject: New pool of Use Cases
Last week, I attended FIATECH, a capital projects consortium dedicated to applying the techniques and approaches of IT and e-commerce to the design, construction, and maintenance of capital assets. Primavera, now Oracle, is a long-time FIATECH participant, and I spent a few minutes discussing our work with the their liaison to the consortium. This got me thinking about the problems of project scheduling between services. The trivial case suggests that a Primavera Server (or MS Project Server) could put an appointment on my calendar. A more interesting case, perhaps, if this involves a series of scheduled events, or schedules the performance of a web service. Still mulling things over… tc "If something is not worth doing, it`s not worth doing well"
