Document: DPWS Location (defaults to line number): 831 Owner: Antoine Mensch Description: it is not clear whether R2037 applies to devices, hosted services or both. While hosted services have an associated WSDL document which can be extended with WS-Policy information, it is not clear from the specification that devices have an associated WSDL document. Currently, the WSDL section of the specification only mentions hosted services. If devices should have WSDL documents associated to them, rules for writing them should be explained, as the semantics of WSDL elements applied to devices is not obvious. Proposed resolution:
