http://www.oasis-open.org/archives/ws-sx/200710/msg00010.html

Comment from Ashok http://www.oasis-open.org/archives/ws-sx/200710/msg00018.html

Marc asked if we were going to use the attribute from XML DSIG or define our own

Symon stated goal is to stay independent of XML DSIG

Marc agrees with Ashok’s comment in that case

Status changed to pending with Ashok’s correction.

Discussion of need for new namespace or not to use with new element that results from this issue.

Historically, such as in WSS, new namespaces were used for new elements.

W3C seems to advocate adding new elements to existing namespace.

No objection to keeping existing namespace, add new namespace for new elements

ER006 - The specification states that if [Timestamp] is false, thenwsu:Timestamp should not be present inside <wsse:Security> header.

http://www.oasis-open.org/archives/ws-sx/200710/msg00016.html

Marc described the message above.

Hal observed that if there are incorrect client implementations we should find a way to calrify this in the spec.

Marc not opposed to adding clarifying text but not sure what it would be, disagrees with changing the rule to match clearly incorrect behavior

Issue left open for further discussion

ER012 - Review normative RFC 2119 language in WS-Trust
