Subject: RE: [wsbpel-spec-edit] WS BPEL CVS support

I think the group should simply appoint a CVS admin and get rolling.  I was able to define a module for the Use Case subgroup fairly easily.

Satish (et. al),

Sorry, my mail has been very slow this week (we are having some server and spam issues). I am just receiving these messages. Anyhow looks like John provided good pointers to this information. Hope that is enough. I think we will still need to know the CVS module name that we will use. Usually cvs admin needs to create it. Do we have that information?

Regards, Prasad

Prasad can you send a pointer to WinCVS usage?  I downloaded but haven’t yet figured out how to use it.

Hi Daine,

Unfortunately my expertise is also at the user level but, minimally we also need to the know,

(1) cvs repository path name (usually /usr/cvs/<something>) and
(2) the names of the "module(s)" we use in that repository (this is what we supply as argument to the checkout command).

If we have the above information, IMO we should be ready to go.

Regards, Prasad

I've successfully gotten a site established for CVS support for us.   You
should have all received a note from "oss" with the following link.  If
you go to that link you will be registered with a password of your
choosing.   Your user id is your last name followed by "-oss" - for
example, I am jordan-oss.

http://www-124.ibm.com/developerworks/account/verify.php?confirm_hash=07b135e09f9024f4

I set up two packages since I think we will want to use this for use cases
as well as the spec (and possibly other documents as we go along), but am
not quite sure that was right.  I'm working on either getting a single
guest user id for everyone on  the TC or will give an id for everyone.  As
the administrator, I am now officially way past my level of expertise on
CVS and am not sure what more is required to actually get our document
onto the site and start using it.  If one of you with more knowledge would
tell me exactly what else I need to do, if anything, to get this started
I'd appreciate it.   Also, if someone wants to create a more decorative
header and footer, let me know.
