Hi Vinky,
Thanks. That is what I was trying to do also (following my own
instructions from way back
http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/wsbpel-spec-edit/email/archives/200502/msg00033.html
:), though I picked the DSA keys. I was trying to update the old
directory in place with Danny's hack. It seems that was not a good
idea. I created a new co directory and it works fine with that.

Prasad

Prasad,
It's working for me now.
Here are the approx. steps I
followed ( with some trial an error in between)
(a) Create a new RSA key using
ssh-keygen
(b) uploaded the key to
sourceforge
(c) In my cygwin environment
set CVSROOT to something like
:ext:vinkesh@wsbpeltc.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/wsbpeltc
(d) In my home directory on
cygwin, created a directory called wsbpeltc
(r) cd wsbpeltc
(f) run command "cvs checkout
specifications"
first time it will give
the authentication error saying host is unknown and it will ask to
create to an entry with (y/n) question. Select y. This will create an
entry in ~/.ssh/known_hosts
It should work now.

-Vinky
Hi Danny,
This is helpful thanks.
I changed the CVSROOT server name to account for the server name
change. Now I am running into a problem due to the following.
>Also note that the SSH key changed today as per the 2006-05-17
12:04:02 note in https://sourceforge.net/docs/A04/
Any suggestions on how we should account for this?
I use cygwin and after the server name change, I now get the
"The authenticity of host 'wsbpeltc.cvs.sourceforge.net (66.35.250.89)'
can't be established." error.
Vinky,
I know you also use cygwin. If you managed to get past this, please let
me know.
Thanks,
Prasad

They changed the server name.
See the 2006-05-13 06:10:17 - update on
https://sourceforge.net/docs/A04/
and/or the following note that I sent under a buried subject line
recently:
"CVS is back up. what I did
was to find the ROOT file in ALL of my CVS
subdirectories in the spec project and change
...@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/wsbpeltc... to
...@wsbpeltc.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/wsbpeltc "

Dieter,
I am still getting the
same error. Can you email me the
latest version of the spec?
I will try to work
offline until cvs comes back up.
thanks,

I am
unable to connect to sourceforge cvs. Is everyone seeing this problem,
or is it just me?.
$ cvs update specifications
ssh: connect to host cvs.sourceforge.net port 22: Connection timed out
cvs [update aborted]: end of file from server (consult above messages
if any)
thanks,
-Vinky
Thanks Dieter. I will be keeping the pen for a
couple of days.
