Hi, Diane, Thomas and Mark,
I have uploaded the spec text of rev 1.174 to the CVS and OASIS-OPEN.org
All the namespaces should be now synchronized as:
"http://docs.oasis-open.org/wsbpel/2.0/..." now, as a result of Issue
289.
And, I apply the consistent changes to Abstract Process Profile URIs as
well, which are:
I guess people should be OK with it.
BTW, OASIS-OPEN.org is semi-mail function now. Its website header and
footer and XSLT style are not found. So all the cosmetics effect of the
website are gone. But it still kind of functions.
Here is the updated and latest zip file of 5 XSDs:
http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/wsbpel/document.php?document_id=19805
Here is the updated and latest spec text (MS Word file):
http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/wsbpel/document.php?document_id=19806
Thanks!
Regards,
Alex Yiu

Resending to the group per Thomas's
request. (Thomas will check on why you can't post directly).
Alex,
Please let us know if you see a
problem
with fixing all the occurrances to match the new namespace as Thomas
suggests.
Thanks.

Hi Diane,
I've get an mailserver error because
I'm not allowed to post to list wsbpel-spec-edit@lists.oasis-open.org.
Can you re-send it for me? Thanks in advance.

When changing the namespaces this
have
to done very carefully as pointed out by Mark. The current spec
contains
a mixture of the old URL namespaces like "http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2004/03/business-process/"
and newer URN namespaces like "urn:oasis:names:tc:wsbpel:2.0:process:executable"
as documented in AI 158.
I've additionally found some old
plnk
namespaces like "http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2004/03/partner-link/"
(i.e. in chapter 5.1).
IMHO, when Alex is applying Issue
289,
both kinds of outdated URIs, the old URL and the newer URN namespaces,
need to be changed to the final namespaces.
Best regards/Mit freundlichen Grüßen,
Thomas Schulze
I think both of you have good points - the old namespace shouldn't
remain
in the spec. It should be replaced with our current namespace.
Mike,
You applied 158 - can you confirm you did it consistently with the most
recent decisions on namespace?
Thanks to all of you for your efforts to improve the quality of the
spec.

My concern is that the two occurrences of the older WS-BPEL namespace
in
the
current spec might get missed unless covered by an action item of their
own.
This is why I entered 158. If Issue 289 has changed the namespace then
by
all means use the new namespace, but I think 158 should remain.

Subject: Question on AI 158
Hi Mark,
I've just seen your AI 158: "Fix namespace for samples in Section
5. From
http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2004/03/business-process/ to
urn:oasis:names:tc:wsbpel:2.0:process:executable. This occurs in Section
5.1 and Section 5.2"
IMHO the namespace "urn:oasis:names:tc:wsbpel:2.0:process:executable"
is
replaced with "http://docs.oasis-open.org/wsbpel/2.0/process/executable"
since today's call. That was the intention of Issue 289 / AI 152. Right?
So, if you agree, can this AI be deleted?
Best regards/Mit freundlichen Grüßen,
Thomas Schulze
