Subject: Does better Nath lead to better process
Dear BPEL
Members:
This message is to advise you that a paper has been posted to http://www.wfmc.org/standards/docs/better_maths_better_processes.pdf Entitled “Does Better Math Lead to Better Business Processes?” this paper by Jon Pyke and Roger Whitehead describes why Business Process Management and its predecessor, workflow management, are not simply an extension to the theory of pi-calculus and why pi-calculus is not the only answer to the BPM debate. This rather off-topic discussion on BPM will no longer be pursued through this BPEL list, my apologies for any inconvenience. If you wish to debate
this paper, please use the more appropriate discussion forum of “Joint Meeting
BPMI-WfMC” at Jon Pyke Chair WfMC
