Subject: RE: [wsbpel] Clarification on correlation sets example (sec. 10.2)
The examples do seem to be messed up. Thanks for spotting the bug! -----Original Message----- From: Ugo Corda [mailto:UCorda@SeeBeyond.com] Sent: Thursday, October 14, 2004 5:03 PM To: wsbpel@lists.oasis-open.org Subject: [wsbpel] Clarification on correlation sets example (sec. 10.2) BPEL implementers at my company found the example in sec. 10.2 confusing, and I agree with them. Here are a couple of problems: 1) The AsynchPurchaseResponse invoke uses the correlation set PurchaseOrder. But this correlation set is defined as aliases over the message POMessage, not over the message POResponse used by the invoke. So there is no connection between the correlation set and the message used by the activity. This looks like a mistake made when writing the example, like something missing in the list of alias definitions. 2) The same invoke also uses the correlation set Invoice, but there is no connection between that correlation set and the message used by the invoke (POResponse). Does this make sense? In other words, is it legal to set the value of a correlation set in abstract like that, without referring to a specific message used in the activity?
