Issue 82 - suggestion from Alex for discussion

An idea from Alex that has people on both sides of the fence, that I 
think the best way to resolve this is after some discussion in the TC 
and then a vote.

A new attribute for abstract processes :
 usesOmissionShortcut ='yes|no'

This would signal whether the abstract process uses the omission 
shortcut. That way, if it does NOT use it then one can speed up 
validation because then you don't have to first replace the opaque 
tokens to check against the schema.
