William,
I didn't find 'extend a manageability property' anywhere in the text.
But I did find 'extend a manageability capability', so lets assume thats what you meant.
I was trying to say extend because is consistent with the WSDL terminology where one
interface 'extends' another , or supports everything in it plus additional operations and properties as needed.
'Is derived from' is appropriate too I guess.
So, in Heather's beady little mind, since manageability capabilities are represented as
WSDL interfaces, and WSDL interfaces extend other WSDL interfaces, then manageability
capabilities extend other manageability capabilities.
Am I making understanding this hard with the word 'extends'?

Hi William,
Heather's choice of language will have precedence over my suggestions here.
I think the word "extend" is intended to mean "to be derived from".
There is probably better language than "extend", or "to be derived
from". What's the UMLish-equivalent term? "constrain" doesn't sound
right to me. Maybe "subtype" but that term seems more programatic than
architectural.

Mark
