Subject: [wsrp-conformance] Simple Producer => stateless?

Alan, Thanks for starting the use profile
document for us ... it will certainly help drive the discussion forward!
The description of the Simple Producer
stumbles around a bit on this issue of being stateless. It is first described
as stateless and then descriptions of persistent and transient state follow.
Perhaps the key is that there is no local state. This would mean that all
persistent state is pushed to the Consumer as portletState (& registrationState
if registration is supported) and all transient state is captured in navigationalState.
