Subject: RE: [wsrp-webservice] call

Title: RE: [wsrp-webservice] call

I also read minutes from a recent workshop on binary interchange of XML Information sets:
http://www.w3c.org/2003/08/binary-interchange-workshop/Report.html. It pointed out the overlap with "attachments" and SOAP serialization but did not address efficient de-multiplexing and forwarding streams (possibly after consumer url re-witing) either.

Should we be feeding requirements into these efforts?

Andre

Most of the use cases in this doc require the data to be carried within
the message for design reasons.

"For design reasons, this data cannot be referenced externally, but must
be transported with the message"

Since the ultimate consumer of markup is typically a browser, IMO, these
use cases do not address the need to transport markup such that it can
be streamed efficiently by a Consumer or a Producer.

Any comments?

Subbu
