Subject: RE: [wsrp-wsia] Reorganization of WSRP Calls - Dial-in Numbers

Hi Thomas,

A few questions:

The WSRP TC Call - shouldn't that be 08:00 AM PACIFIC TIME (11:00 Eastern)? That would put it in the timeframes of the current two Thursday calls.

The Tuesday call - is it an open for all members conf call (as can be understood from this mail), or intended for a specific group of people that do not speak about the issues themselves but only about what issues need to be discussed in the next Thursday call?

Since Charlie mentioned in a separate email that the WSIA Tuesday calls will continue in order to cover the properties interface for 1.0, isn't there a collision with the new Tuesday call?

Here are the dial-in Numbers for the weekly issue prioritization and WSRP
TC calls, effective starting this Thursday.

Tuesdays: Prioritization of open specification issues and scheduling of
issued for the Thursday calls of the following week (run by Rich Thompson)

CALL TIME: 09:00 AM PACIFIC TIME (12:00 PM Eastern, 06:00 PM CET)
 DURATION: 1 hour
 USA Toll Free Number: 888-677-5736
 USA Toll Number: +1-630-395-0182
 PASSCODE: 29067

Thursdays: WSRP TC Call - Main purpose from now on to resolve the spec
issues scheduled in the Tuesday call of the previous week

CALL TIME: 09:00 AM PACIFIC TIME (12:00 Eastern)

 USA Toll Free Number: 877-302-8255
 USA Toll Number: +1 303-928-2609

As mentioned before, the prioritization call replaces the Common Interfaces
call, the WSRP TC call is now weekly instead of bi-weekly and extended to
include the time that was previously scheduled for the WSRP interfaces

Subject: Reorganization of WSRP Calls

Dear WSRP TC Members,

at the last Face to Face Meeting, we decided to reorganize our phone calls.
While we initially set up technical calls for the subgroups and a TC call
for organizational and high-level matters, we are now changing to the
following mode of operation to close remaining issues on the specification:

We'll collect all issued raised by the TC in an issues list, maintained by
Gil Tayor. To raise an issue, please send an e-mail to this list, Gil
monitors the list and will feed the issues raised into the issues list.

Based on the input from the TC collected in the issues list, the spec leads
and I will use the Tuesday slot (9am PST / 12 pm EST / 6 pm CET) to review
outstanding issues, prioritize them and schedule them for the Thursday
calls appropriate for their respective priorities. We will then send out
the agenda of issues to be resolved in the Thursday call of the following

Instead of the 1 h bi-weekly WSRP TC call and the 1h weekly interface
subgroup calls on Thursdays we will have a weekly 2 h WSRP TC call to
resolve the outstanding specification issues scheduled in the Tuesday
meeting of the previous week. The time for the weekly 2 h call at Thursdays
will be 8 am PST / 11 am EST / 5 pm CET.

After the Thursday meetings, we will record the resolutions of the issues
covered in the call and the spec editors will update the spec

Best regards,

Thomas Schaeck
