i disagree. should we abandon SAML profiling as well? ignore the OGSA input? standards are worthless sans applicability. to that end we are not going to be able to develop a tenable standard without holding it up to practical application. demonstrating how WSPL can be mapped onto XACML seems like the perfect opportunity to just that. not sure what you mean by 'going on and on' but i for one don't expect the group to solve policy expression for eternity in the next version. viable standards are *living* documents; this group should continue improving the specification so long as there is a well defined need for such and sufficient community interest to justify it. b Anthony Nadalin wrote: > > > > Bill, this reinforces why WSPL is our of scope, As you write "If you are > writing polices for WSPL that are expressed in XACML", so the emphasis is > writing WSPL not XACML.
