My vote would be to simply change that into a string. It won't affect the value of the example, and will make things clearer overall (since it would have to be a string to be used by the XPath functions, the only mechanism available in the core specification). If we like, we can add a comment explaining that had the value been of type xpath-expression then it could be handled specially, as defined in a separate profile. seth
