[xliff] XLIFF TC work

Hi all,

Tony, Yves and I had a meeting today to look at how we could manage the work
the group has over the next few months. We agreed the following which will
be raised at next Tuesday's meeting for approval by the group.

Our objective over the next few months is to have version 1.1 of XLIFF
proposed as an Oasis standard by the end of November for consideration and
approval during December.

We have previously divided the work which came from the face to face meeting
into a number of consolidated documents. These documents categorized the
importance of the issue and included relevant comments. The owners of these
documents will be responsible for bringing the document to the TC. Prior to
the TC meeting the owner will send a mail saying that their document is
being discussed at the next meeting and could everyone re-read it. They
might also mention any issues which they think might need more examination. 

At the meeting the document owner would introduce it and any issues listed
as non-contentious within the document will be nodded through with the TC
going into more detail in the contentious areas. If further work arises as a
result of the discussion the owner of the original document does not have to
do it but does have to make sure it gets done. The owners of the documents
will keep a working draft of their document and post this to the group as it
changes.

As we have a tight schedule we may have to weekly meetings during September.


Yves will clean up the working draft of the spec and post this to the group
for the meeting after next.
