Subject: RE: [xliff] Minimum set of container elements for XLIFF 2.0
Thanks Yves. Spacing looks good in your note. I don't have courier so I tried courier new. C'est la vie! I agree with your improved/simplified model. I updated my proposal in the wiki to match. And I linked the group element in my proposal to the one you noted. One think, I would not make internal or external file mutually exclusive. I could see having a need for both (but that might be sloppy or redundant). Open for debate on that one. Thanks for your help on this. - Bryan -----Original Message----- From: xliff@lists.oasis-open.org [mailto:xliff@lists.oasis-open.org] On Behalf Of Yves Savourel Sent: Monday, March 19, 2012 1:06 PM To: xliff@lists.oasis-open.org Subject: RE: [xliff] Minimum set of container elements for XLIFF 2.0 Hi Bryan, I'm guessing some spaces got lost in the email (and may get lost in mine too). I would also assume we could simplify the <skl>: it can have either a single <internal-file> or a single <external-file>. We might as well remove one level: since <skl> encloses only one element it's not really useful. Maybe that could be <internal-skl> or <external-skl> instead. <xliff>1 | | +--- <file>+ | +--- <header>? | | | +--- <internal-skl>?|<external-skl>? | | +--- <body>1 | +--- <group>*|<unit>* For group: we do have an item for that in the feature list: http://wiki.oasis-open.org/xliff/XLIFF2.0/Feature/Grouping cheers, -yves --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: xliff-unsubscribe@lists.oasis-open.org For additional commands, e-mail: xliff-help@lists.oasis-open.org
