To clarify, that N is the maximum number of dimensions, as explained in the comment.  It should be defined in the section also.  Good catch!

I'd like to propose that we add a new attribute, max_dims_used, to the uses_arrays tag. Section 2.2.1 XMILE Options shows "N" as the maximum number of dimensions but does not define it further in the section. The uses_arrays tag already has another attribute, invalid_index_value, which is defined in the text. I'd like to replace "N" with max_dims_used or some other acceptable name. Would you please give this some thought and we can discuss at the meeting today?
