I am curious, after hearing much discussions about this topic, and reading Nicks narrative of the use cases surrounding this proposal (thanks Nick), what benefit an authority gains by referencing a fully qualified (global) XRI within it's own namespace, if it does not want to inherit it's semantics, as this minute item indicates. Specifically, if +skateboard exists, and carries globally semantic meaning (we universally agree what a skateboard is), how then, should one interpret the semantic meaning of =drummond*(+skateboard) ? would it not simply be =drummond/(+skateboard), putting skateboard into a local scope? =peterd
