Review - Direction Discussion

1. Working Healthcare Examples - These are a suite of reference implementations to create, store/retrieve, and enforce XSPA compliant patient, and organizational policy.  The test and certification application will provide working examples addressing a simple patient opt-in to more complex clinical data masking(redaction).  Developers will be able to review related Java code as well experience context sensitive help for each example.  It was noted that these examples are non-normative and are only intended to provide technical guidance.

2. Certification - XSPA Certification will focus on the producer and consumer messaging aspects of the 3 Oasis standards XSPA-SAML, XSPA-WS-Trust, and XSPA-XACML.

3. Performance Testing - Will initially provide mechanism for users to validate performance between PEP-PDP and U.S. specific NHIN APE(AdapterPolicyEngine)-PDP.

4. System Hosting - Action item for Duane to contact IDtrust section to define system requirements and costs.

5. Other Features not discussed:  User Account/Environment Setup, Reference Data Services, Translation Services, ...
