Subject: [ciq] Implementation of xCIL

Good news!

I have replied to Mr.Smothers about our immediate plans to
have a schema version of xCIL and also implementing our
standards as part of the core components of ebXML.

Regards

Ram

Dear Mr. Kumar,

I work for a consortium of professional medical societies that is
building an industry-specific XML schema that incorporates xCIL. We are
considering using a schema definition rather than DTD, and I was
wondering if your Technical Committee is also considering migrating xCIL
to an XML schema(s)?

Many thanks. If you are interested in our use of xCIL to describe
professional medical society members, please let me know and I can send
you more information.
