I think we need an "Introduction to the DITA Specification" topic that I think is what Eliot is referring to, separate from and independent of the "Introduction to DITA" topic that serves a totally different purpose. I think we need to talk about that, especially since what you are suggesting potentially has a big effect on the Lang Ref topics and might introduce significant work for Robert ...
