BACKGROUND

 

Studied ecology, environmental law, and history at Rutgers University. Graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. Worked as a writer of serious fiction and creation of interactive educational stories for elementary students. Also worked as an elementary school teacher focusing on the integration of traditional teaching methods with technology that enhances writing, reasoning, and logical thinking skills. I am a co-director of HumanMarkup.org, Inc and am the author of HumanML Write.

 

GENERAL INTERESTS:

 

Writing, programming, modern American and European literature, numismatics, theology, philosophy, intelligence, law, and international relations.

 

INTERESTS RELATING TO HUMANMARKUP TC:

 

My primary interests for HumanMarkup involve three main areas of focus:

 

1) The use of HM technologies to aid in the creation of interactive, intelligent, and adaptive systems for educational use.

 

2) The use of HM technologies to create interactive fiction, marking-up of screenplays, stage direction, and sophisticated aid in the writing process.

 

3) The use of HM technologies for communications, primarily for intelligence and other mission critical communications environments where communications failures are costly or dangerous.
