I will take time to re-read Roger's message and provide detailed response...  I had thought in Boston we decided that Court Policy did need to be revised based on need to be consist with court filing use of other technical standards  (e.g. security profiles)....   more later on this

 meanwhile want to make sure TC members know that the eGov Act of 2002* passed Congress last Friday 11/15 and as i understand it will be headed to the White House for signature.. use of standards and extensible mark-up are noted in the act as well as Electronic Filing of federal court documents....  interesting bedtime reading....  diane
