OASIS Board of Director Elections now Open

To review the candidates, see the 2002 Nominee list at

Interoperability Summit

OASIS members are encouraged to attend the Interoperability Summit
Series in Orlando, 27-28 June. Hosted by HR-XML, OASIS, OMG (tm), and
XBRL, the Interoperability Summit brings industry groups, consortia and
their members together in an ongoing initiative to coordinate
development of electronic business specifications.

The ebXML Joint Marketing Team

The ebXML Joint Marketing Team (JMT), under the direction of the
UN/CEFACT OASIS Joint Coordination Committee, recently held a F2F
meeting in Barcelona. As a result, we've put together an exciting
six-month plan for promoting ebXML, its global implementation base, and
its role in business-centric Web services. If you or someone from your
organization would like to help us advance

The OASIS DocBook TC is pleased to announce the release of Simplified
DocBook V1.0 Candidate Release 2 in XML and DocBook V4.2 Candidate
Release 3 in XML
and SGML.

The OASIS ebXML Messaging TC has submitted the Messaging Service
Specification V2.0, which is an approved Committee Specification, for
review and consideration for approval by OASIS members to become an
OASIS Standard, the review period ends 30 June.

The OASIS BTP TC is pleased to announce that BTP 1.0 Committee
Specification and the BTP Primer 1.0 are available on the BTP website.

V2.0, xAL V2.0, xCIL V2.0, and xCRL V2.0 for a 30 day public review and
