OASIS Business-Centric Methodology Technical Committee (BCM TC) Forms

A Call for Participation has been issued for the OASIS BCM TC, which has
been chartered to develop a specification to provide business managers
with a set of clearly defined methods with which to acquire agile and
interoperable e-business information systems. Interested participants
should join by 26 May 2003 in order to contribute to the first
meeting, which is scheduled for 9 june 2003.

OASIS Web Application Security Technical Committee (WAS TC) Forms

The OASIS WAS TC is being formed to produce a classification scheme for
web security vulnerabilities, a model to provide guidance for initial
threat and an XML schema to describe web security conditions that can be
used by both assessment and protection tools. Join by 26 May 2003 to
participate in the first meeting, which is scheduled for 9 June 2003.

OASIS Auto Repair Member Section Formed

OASIS is pleased to announce the formation of a new Member Section for
Auto Repair, as a reflection of the increased interest in furthering the
work of the OASIS Automotive Repair Information Format TC and other work
emerging in the Auto Repair area.

Participate in Study on Open Standards

The Delphi Group is conducting a research study on the role of open
standards on the development of software. OASIS members who participate
in this study will gain immediate access to Delphi's 2003 Economic
Survey Report (a $995 value) in exchange for 10 minutes of time to
complete an online survey. Participants will also receive a copy of the
final report. Survey answers remain confidential.

ebXML IIC Approves Specs

The OASIS ebXML Implementation, Interoperability and Conformance TC
approved the ebXML Messaging Service (ebMS) v2 framework document, test
suite, deployment guide templates as Committee Specs. The Test Framework
can be used to support conformance testing and interoperability testing
in different configurations, from point-to-point testing between
business partners, to centralized configurations involving a test
center.
