OASIS Board of Director Elections

Some important reminders regarding the 2003 OASIS Board of Directors
elections:

* Nominations to the Board, with all required documentation, must be
received in our office by Tuesday 27 May 2003 at 23:59:59
(11:59:59p.m.)  Any nomination that lacks any required documentation
at that time will be considered withdrawn.  For details, see

http://www.oasis-open.org/private/bod_elections_2003.php

* Only Sponsor and Contributor members in good standing are eligible
to nominate and vote in the Board of Directors ballot.

* The Voting representative, or Alternate, will be eligible to cast
the ballot on behalf of their company.  Your company roster can be
found at http://www.oasis-open.org/kmembers/person/roster/  Direct any
changes in Primary or Voting representative to
scott.mcgrath@oasis-open.org  Any changes to the voting Representative
must be made prior to 30 May to be reflected in the Board election.

* The candidate review and balloting period will be 30 May - 25 June.
All members are encouraged to review the candidate profiles during
this period.

* To help you know the candidates, OASIS will be posing questions to
the candidates on behalf of our members.  Send your questions to
nominations@oasis-open.org  We will compile your questions and send a
representative sample of your questions to the candidates.  As a
compilation, the questions will not be identified as coming from any
specific members.  Candidates' optional answers will be included on
the candidate profile page.  No questions will be accepted after 11
June.
