Bart reported that the wiki is not open to the public and the forum is not very active. They have done a survey and Bart will contact for the details of the survey. The survey apparently attempts to determine which functions are being used in government documents. #0026 Process for adding test scenarios - Peront [new item] #0027 How to submit material for test scenarios - Peront [new item] 3. STANDING RULES FOR PROPOSALS ---------------------------- Dennis discussed the idea about having some standing rules for systematically advancing proposals to an adopted status. He proposes to modify the ODF TC standing rules and offer it on the OIC TC List for further discussion and take-up at the next meeting. 4. DELIVERABLES ------------ 4.1 STATE OF INTEROPERABILITY - not discussed pending availability of the first draft current wiki page <http://wiki.oasis-open.org/oic/The_State_of_ODF_Interoperability> 4.2 TEST DOCUMENTS Bart has continued submitting some documents and test cases to the SVN repository. Has a mail template proposal: <http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/oic/200903/msg00040.html>. There was discussion on how the SVN work being done and the proposal that Mingfei made about procedure and making consolidated documents could converge. Current Process proposal on wiki: <http://wiki.oasis-open.org/oic/TestSuiteCMProcess> - need to demonstrate that Subversion is a sound solution for test-document storage - having semantic confirmation and forming an agreement on what correct behavior is - testing a proposed test against at least two applications to see if the test can be accepted by any implementation - consider other options for qualifying a test - using wiki pages for a draft of how to review test case submissions - need how-to on submission of detailed test cases - discussion of mail template for receiving cases and using a tool to extract into an XML document - Bart wants have more feedback on what he has been doing - Bart summarizes what he has been doing producing text -> XML -> HTML + simple style sheet for cases on SVN - Bart makes a zip containing the repository folders in his branch and posts them to the TC document repository as a captured working version that can be discussed and approved in some way - We are asked to look at this and see if it fits our needs. There is a question with how multiple test cases against a single specimen document (and others created in the procedure) scales for coverage of all features of the specification - There is more to understand about how we must have separate test documents in some cases (e.g., encrypted packages versus unencrypted ones) and we can't union everything. Looking at a progression of simple feature tests working all the way up to scenario document of particular complex situations. 4.3 PROCESS / CONFORMANCE ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY Discussed as part of action items and general discussion of test documents. 5. ROUND TABLE (no discussion) ----------- 6. FUTURE MEETING PLANNING ----------------------- We are continuing on the 13:30 - 14:30 UT call times until the US time-zone adjustment on November 1. Local times for the 2009-03-25 call are the same as for today's call. European time-zone adjustment for summer time will happen before the next call on Wednesday, April 8. 7. END OF MEETING The meeting was adjourned at 14:27Z. Respectfully submitted, - Dennis Dennis E.
