#0034 Interop Demo Videos. Work in progress.

3. STATE OF INTEROPERABILITY REPORT e-BALLOT
Rob posted a CD05 document and now Bart needs to send a note to OAIS for putting up CD05 and initiating a 15-day Public Review. ** ACTION FOR BAR **

4. INTEROP ADVISORIES
< http://wiki.oasis-open.org/oic/InteropAdvisories>

4.1 INTEROP ADVISORY 0002 and 0003.
We looked these over and talked about them.
Svante and Dennis demonstrated their disagreement on what is really going on in ODF packages with regard to manifest:full-path, the names of files in the Zip directory, and the use of relative URIs in XML documents within the package. There are notes on this in OIC TC JIRA Issue OIC-5 (which is marked as closed by the way), < http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OIC-5>. Dennis urged that this discussion is more appropriate on the ODF TC where it is a matter of importance for the definition of Packages in ODF 1.2.

4.2 ADDITIONAL ADVISORIES
We thought that deriving these from experiences at the Interop Demo and the Plugfest would be a good idea.

5. STATUS OF ODF EVENTS

5.1 ODF INTEROP DEMO (September, Budapest)
Don Harbison provided a summary of the progress on preparations, mentioning that Nokia might participate for demonstration of mobile=platform interoperability. Included in the participants are KOffice, two libraries for accessing/creating ODF, and a number of the OO.o lineage. We are now 5 weeks away from the September 2 Interop Demo.

5.2 ODF PLUGFEST (October, Brussels)
<http://www.odfplugfest.be/>
Bart reported that most participants are confirmed, though there may be some more. Louis is sending some material to Bart.
There is also an OASIS event in Europe on October 13-14, so people will be able to come from that event to Day 2 of the Plugfest.
The web site is mostly done and formal invitations needed for travel justification are going out. It was recommended to Bart that PDF on formal letterhead via e-mail is much better than international postal mail (though those might be sent too).
The next ODF Plugfest coordination call was scheduled for 29 July.

6. ROUND TABLE
There was no additional discussion.

7. FUTURE MEETING PLANNING

The next meeting is on August 11 at the usual time.

Respectfully submitted,

Dennis E. Hamilton, OIC TC Secretary
