 2. TA GUIDELINES PUBLIC-REVIEW CANDIDATE REVIEW
    Link to Change-Tracked Version:
    <http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/document.php?document_id=38997>

Jacques took us through the Guidelines, especially where there are marked-up
changes. A desirable change to Figure 3 was found. There will be a new
draft with that change before we ballot.

 3. TA MODEL PUBLIC-REVIEW CANDIDATE REVIEW
    Link to Change-Tracked Version:
    <http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/document.php?document_id=38999>

Jacques took us through the DIFF of the cleaned-up Model draft. Jacques
added a revision history at the back. It seems consistent and ready at this
point.

 4. TEST ASSERTION MARKUP PUBLIC-REVIEW CANDIDATE REVIEW
    Link to Change-Tracked Version:
    <http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/document.php?document_id=39002>
    Dennis had a problem viewing the DIFFs and it turns out that his
settings of red highlighting for deletions failed when the deleted text is
in a red font. It looked as if there were big blogs of blank space being
deleted. Recommendation: Publish DIFFs in PDF form so that settings and
capabilities of the application used to view the change-tracked version do
not matter.
    Again, there was no indication of material difficulties as Jacques took
us through a review of the DIFF.

 5. NEXT PUBLIC REVIEW AND FURTHER STEPS
    Objective in Short term is initiating Public Review in OASIS.
    At the start of the meeting, we discussed that we could vote today or,
if there are more changes to be done, initiate electronic ballot after the
changes are made.
    Jacques is thinking about requesting a longer than 15-day Public Review
because of the amount of change in the key documents.
    Dennis suggests doing an electronic ballot, if we are comfortable at the
end of this meeting, and then we can look at them and approve as new CDs for
Public Review. Otherwise, if we feel there are more things to needed, we
would wait until the next call to resolve our own comments and fix things
before the next meeting, so we could approve then.

   Based on the discussion from the review of the candidate drafts during
the call, Jacques is going to wait until the end of the week (08-19). We
should report any obvious issues or problems, so they can be fixed with
creation of new candidates. We will then start an electronic ballot on
these documents as new committee drafts for submission for a new Public
Review.

  6. NEXT MEETING
The next call will be on TUESDAY August 31.

 - Dennis E. Hamilton
