RivCom is also a member of OASIS, and our view is also that OASIS would
provide a very appropriate forum for continuing the work begun in
TopicMaps.Org.

OASIS has a structure known as a "member section". Currently CGM Open is a
member section of OASIS. For TopicMaps.Org to become a member section of
OASIS would give it a clear identity within the OASIS community - stronger
than simply launching a topic maps technical committee within OASIS.
