I'll take a step back to mention that Steve and I were talking a month ago 
about adding cardinality to the XPath files.  I don't see cardinality in 
your concept instance above, but we believe it is going to need to be 
there, so right away we have a new feature to add to the XPath files.

So, for one new feature, we have to add the cardinality of each element and 
attribute (not sure yet how to do it for attributes ... Steve, can I assume 
that every attribute is uniquely named across the set of all attributes, 
regardless of the namespace in which they are declared?).  Before I 
undertake any changes, are there other issues?
