At the close of the meeting , we resolved that the following should accompany the delivery of the proposed bylaw amendment text, when that text was delivered to the board by the chair. Implementation of the TC process The PAC recommends that the new process for OASIS TCs be implemented as follows: 1. Change the title of Article 5 from "Committees" to "Committees of the Board." 2. Add a new Article 14, "Technical Committees," the text of which is attached. 3. Add a new Article 15, "Standards Process," the text of which is attached. Because these changes are procedural, the PAC recommends that the board of directors exercise its authority to enact them directly rather than submit them to a vote of the membership, and the board should then inform the membership of the action taken. ---------------------------------------------------- 3. Resolved to adjourn this meeting. The next meeting will be held at the call of the chair. Meeting adjourned 8:35 pm Eastern Daylight Time Deborah A.
