Hi Mark - revision #2 of the beta DITA 1.1 DTDs that I posted had an
example, because at that point we still expected the original filter
attributes to be extensions. If you download revision #2, you can see how
it would work with audience, platform, product, and otherprops:

I have not had a chance to see if Michael gave examples that would not
force you to read DTD syntax...

Hi,
Are there any references/examples on the correct use of the domain
attribute extensions?
I have searched around the TC documents and not found any specific examples
of this.
Any guidance would be appreciated.
