Subject: DOCBOOK-APPS: RE: Generating a TOC for a single <refentry>
Hi Norm > Where do you want the ToC to occur? A refentry usually looks like this: [snip] > Putting the ToC before the "Name" seems like it would be confusing. Personally speaking, I think putting it right at the top would be fine. In fact, I think it would be great if that were the default. I would guess that most man pages are significantly longer than a screen and would thus benefit from a ToC. For random (non-DocBook) examples of the sort of output I mean, check out: http://search.cpan.org/author/DCONWAY/Parse-RecDescent-1.80/lib/Parse/RecDescent.pod http://www.perldoc.com/perl5.8.0/bin/pod2html.html Cheers Kevin +ANYTHING+BELOW+WAS+ADDED+AFTER+I+HIT+SEND+ Visit our website at http://www.ubswarburg.com This message contains confidential information and is intended only for the individual named.
