Subject: Re: [docbook-apps] extra page between cover and chapter with docbook
Hi, Here is the sequence of templates for book title pages: 1. The match="book" template in fo/division.xsl processes a book. It calls a template name "book.titlepage". 2. The "book.titlepage" template is located in fo/titlepage.templates.xsl. It calls a sequence of templates: <xsl:template name="book.titlepage"> <fo:block xmlns:fo="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Format"> <fo:block> <xsl:call-template name="book.titlepage.before.recto"/> <xsl:call-template name="book.titlepage.recto"/> </fo:block> <fo:block> <xsl:call-template name="book.titlepage.before.verso"/> <xsl:call-template name="book.titlepage.verso"/> </fo:block> <xsl:call-template name="book.titlepage.separator"/> </fo:block> </xsl:template> 3. Each of those templates is also defined in fo/titlepage.templates.xsl. If you want to turn off the verso titlepage, then you can define those two templates as empty in your customization: <xsl:template name="book.titlepage.verso"> </xsl:template> <xsl:template name="book.titlepage.before.verso"> </xsl:template> If you want to Bob Stayton Sagehill Enterprises DocBook Consulting bobs@sagehill.net ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jason Novotny" <novotny@aei.mpg.de> To: <fop-user@xml.apache.org> Cc: "Bob Stayton" <bobs@sagehill.net>; <docbook-apps@lists.oasis-open.org> Sent: Friday, June 04, 2004 3:08 AM Subject: Re: [docbook-apps] extra page between cover and chapter with docbook > > Ok, it should be <xsl:import ../> for both, duh! ;-) However, I have > used just the following section for my title.xml (and then create the > xsl which is imported): > > <t:titlepage t:element="book" t:wrapper="fo:block"> > <t:titlepage-content t:side="recto"> > <title > t:named-template="division.title" > param:node="ancestor-or-self::book[1]" > text-align="center" > font-size="&hsize5;" > space-before="&hsize5space;" > font-weight="bold" > font-family="{$title.fontset}"/> > <author font-size="&hsize3;" > space-before="&hsize2space;" > keep-with-next="always"/> > <copyright/> > </t:titlepage-content> > > </t:titlepage> > > > but I still see the second page which has a horizontal line at the top > and the copyright info-- how can I just get rid of this second page as > well?
