Subject: RE: DOCBOOK: Working with XInclude / xml:base / libxml v2.4.24 andabove
Hi Bob > A workaround is available in this message: > http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/docbook/200211/msg00040.html Excellent! Thanks for that. I tried the solution and it seems to work fine. Incidentally, I was a bit disappointed that I failed to find the above message for myself, so I set out to discover what I did wrong. I originally searched for "xml:base" at http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/docbook/, which produced no matches. (I then tried other searches, such as libxml2 and xinclude, which unearthed some relevant messages, but not the key one above.) The "Searching Elist Archives" help page includes the following notes: * Punctuation characters are not considered a part of a word and are not indexed. * Words must be at least 4 letters or digits long to be indexed. which explains what I did wrong. Searching for all of "xinclude base" produces a page with the above message appearing eighth (still missable, but much better). Hope this info helps others.
