I think every demonstrator should be expected to constrain their demonstrations so as to not impinge on anyone else's demonstration. Also, being an office building I would think the regular office residents might be confused as to whether it was an actual alarm. I really do not think it is essential for anyone to sound a siren--surely everyone knows what a siren does. I would think they could make their point with a flashing light. Typically in the US, public safety frequencies are in the 850-870MHz range for high UHF and 150-170Mhz for VHF. I am not sure what frequencies we should stay away from. When demo'ing our equipment in the US, I always determine the NOAA frequency used in the area and avoide that one as well. there are 7 freqs in the NOAA NWS band in the US. Not sure what freqs to stay away from in Geneva. Probably a good idea to make a request of those demonstrating if they will have sirens, radios or other equipment that will need special consideration/guidelines.
