Subject: Followup on SBDH and a more dynamic time to perform (on response)
Hi, This is a followup to Monday's question about whether the Standard Business Document Header (SBDH) had a suitable field for more dynamic values of time to perform (on a business response to a business request). John Duker called my attention to the following: RequestingDocumentCreationDateTime : Descriptor which contains date and time of the Standard Business Document Header/document creation of the requesting document, assigned to the requesting document by the parser translator or service component. Optional, DateTime. 2. RequestingDocumentIdentifier: : identifier of requesting document instance. Optional, String. 3. ResponseDateTime : date and time when response is expected. Optional, DateTime. Possibly item 3 "ResponseDateTime" would serve to indicate the requester's expectation of a response, which might bilaterally be agreed to, when present, override a default value for a timeToPerform, at least for simple Request Response Business Transaction.
