Acceptanc of 12 Jan 2004 Meeting Minutes (quorum achieved today)
Motion St. Amand, Second Pradhan No objections.

Work Item 43-Name/NameID
Nagahashi:
See proposal at: http://www.oasis-open.org/archives/ebxml-bp/200401/msg00105.html
See Yunker response at: http://www.oasis-open.org/archives/ebxml-bp/200401/msg00107.html

Nagahashi: Don't need to specify what the ID specifically is. Yunker make a comment on need for name. We have versioning for BPSS document itself. Is there one needed for NameID for BPSS components?
Dubray: That is tricky. Sometimes you want to update a business transaction definition. The unique ID will change. It is expected that other elements that reference it need to reference Name in order to bind more easily if the version changes. In other circumstances,
you may use the opposite behavior. It is not obvious to manage those references. This relates to versioning.

See: Work Item 7: Versioning
See updated Work Item List of 19 Jan 2004 on ebBP web site under Documents under Work Item List.
Assigned to: Nagahashi, Dubray

Martin: Provide original email to them.

Moberg: Closure can be done on Work Item 43. Leave specification as is.
Should use UID and name can be used. Don't need to specify what UID is.
Resolve versioning and re-evaluate if any other changes made to this decision.

Nagahashi: Are there requirements of two or more instances of the same collaboration?
Dubray: If there are no collisions between versions, there is no versioning problem. The only issue is the NameID synchronization for different versions.
Webber: UID as major/minor version to the base UID to explicitly name a subversion of the original or to leave it as the UID where you receive the latest instance.
Martin: Can you put a proposal to the list?
Webber: Yes.

Motion to accept Kenji Nagahashi proposal, except for clarification from John Yunker on Name.
Second Webber
Accepted without objections.

Work Item 55 Late Binding
Martin: Posted starting summary 18 Jan 2004. Asked team to review.
Abrell: Agreed to provide proposal for 26 Jan 2004 meeting to set up for TC call and F2F.

OASIS General Meeting April 2004 - New Orleans, LA
Jamie Clark: Many TCs will participate.
F2F are being discussed for various teams.
Annual general meeting will be held.
WS-CAF, CPPA possible, Reg/Rep, and others are gearing up to attend..
Webber: Occurs the week after XML 2004 in Europe.
St. Amand: Opportunity for information exchange to talk to other TCs to collaborate and identify synergy or potential overlap even if informally.
J. Clark: May be able to provide daily recaps so people can call in and get quality information. See Dee Schur for more details.
Martin: Will provide information back ebBP from JC call 28 Jan 2004 and contact Schur.

F2F Agenda Suggestions
Webber: Work existing issues.
