Subject: ebBP 3/21/2005: Comment re: Signal Attributes (wd 10/schema 2-22)
In addition to Sacha's question on DocumentEnvelopeType and isPositiveResponse, he also asked about similar attributes on signals. In order to address his question, here is the current condition and any draft proposed solutions. * ReceiptAcknowledgementType@isPositiveReceipt (Has xsd:boolean type and fixed='true') and ReceiptAcknowledgementExceptionType@isPositiveReceipt (Has no xsd:boolean type and fixed='false') o Proposed resolution: Schema + Proposed change: ReceiptAcknowledgementExceptionType@isPositiveReceipt <xsd:attribute name="*isPositiveSignal*" type="*xsd:boolean*" fixed="*false*" /> * Neither AcceptanceAcknowledgementType or AcceptanceAcknowledgementExceptionType carries isPositiveXXX attributes. o Proposed resolution: No schema change. Reviewed BT patterns matrices and adjoining text in wd10 (Section 4.6.6.1, 4.6.6.3 and 4.11). Note that AA are strongly recommended only, and only may apply to specific patterns. o Proposed change, Section 4.6.6.3: + Change from: # A corresponding isPositiveSignal attribute occurs on each signal, consistent with the structure of the Document Envelope. + Change to: # A corresponding isPositiveSignal attribute occurs on the Receipt Acknowledgement signals, consistent with the structure of the Document Envelope (isPositiveResponse). * GeneralExceptionType has no isPositiveReceipt="false" attribute o Proposed resolution: No change. This is a special distinct type of technical failure, is not part of the choreographed activities but may be recognized. Comments welcome.
