Subject: RE: [egov-registry] Re: eGov regrep eGMS + JUDD

Carl, Farrukh,

i am going to be attending an e-gov class in West VA June 14-18th... i have been offered a job at Dept of Transportation which i accepted so June 25th is my last day at DOJ/EOUSA. i am going to transfer my OASIS membership... and given that justice data is public domain i believe i can still provide some assistance to the SC. here are some justice data related sites you might want to consider. starting in July i can work with you to identify set of data elements based on my current justice data use knowledge.

look forward to continued dialogue with all . i just will be in another physical location and adding to my knowledge of U.S. federal data. my new employer is aware of my participation in OASIS. cheers.. diane

Given the opportunity to use the justice data dictionary I vote for :

Mapping the eGMS vocabulary elements * plus elements from the justice data
dictionary (JUDD) * to Core Components and then use CCRIM work-in-progress
to map the Core Components version of standard vocabulary to RIM.

To get this started I also propose that -
(0) Diane identify the candidate elements from JUDD
(1) Paul select the most apprpopriate elements from eGMS plus JUDD
(2) I [carl] will start the mapping to CC
(3) Duane will answer the CC mapping questions that I will formulate as I
attempt the task :-]
4) Paul will use the Q&A discussions to produce a best practice 'script'
for the Technical Note

Ok ... ?
