Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] (ENERGYINTEROP-687) Are Independent Markets required?
[ https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/ENERGYINTEROP-687?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=80654#comment-80654 ] William Cox commented on ENERGYINTEROP-687: ------------------------------------------- Locality is an attribute of a market; don't need a universal market with multiple instruments. Wants for delivery to "my neighborhood distribute grid" in the Tender message - deliberately not in the Tender. Was this an extension? Check message definitions. Location related to market registration, implicit afterward and need not be duplicated in Tender. > Are Independent Markets required? > --------------------------------- > > Key: ENERGYINTEROP-687 > URL: https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/ENERGYINTEROP-687 > Project: OASIS Energy Interoperation TC > Issue Type: Bug > Components: cts > Affects Versions: CTSPR01 > Environment: Edward G. Cazalet, TEMIX https://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/energyinterop-comment/202111/msg00001/Cazalet_Comments_on_CTS.pdf > Reporter: Toby Considine > Assignee: William Cox > Priority: Major > Labels: CLARITY, MARKET > > 11. While the Proposal includes bilateral transactions, the Proposalâs favored alternative of independent, localÂclearing markets (market engines) is unworkable in a grid where fine locational and time granularity isÂessential, and liquidity of tenders is minimal. -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.3.3#803004)
