Sowa Cc: SUO Subject: CG: Model of intention in virtual humans I just found this PDF by Stacy Marsella from ISI about modeling psychological theories of human coping behaviors. Its an interesting view of what virtual humans have to be able to do if they're going to interact naturally with people. http://www.isi.edu/~marsella/marsella-aamas03.pdf Peirceans might find something related to Peirce's writings about intention and thirdness. I found it very interesting (though not very deep) as food for thought about how to build more natural agent programs.
