The conformance clauses are specified in separate sections in 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 4.5, and 4.6.
Each set of test sequences is independent (3.1, 3.2, 3.3).
There is no dependency or relationship expressed between them.

What I thought you were noting is that the names and types in the custom attributes between independent test sequences are different - which of course it is allowed to be different - and in fact were edited at one stage to vary.

Re-reading your latest messages with the line number references helped to figure out that you are noting that the ModifyAttribute is using a different type than the original types used in the Create. Nothing in the specification precludes this behaviour - although that wasn't the intent or focus of the tape library profile.

I already have pending errata on the 1.2 version of the test case ...
and in that I had changed those items - but had not updated the 1.0 or
1.1 versions of the test cases. There are some other changes pending too
- but for any errata related to KMIP 1.2 we had decided to hold off until the specifications were finally voted on before moving forward on those (either in a KMIP 1.3 version or errata on the existing documents
- errata which cannot be started until the official versions are available.

Do you have any other comments on the tape library profile in other areas?

Thanks,
Tim.
