Subject: observation: a formerly "change tracked" insertion of content is splitted into two.
Hi, I observed in Apache OpenOffice 3.4.1 and in Microsoft Word 2010 that a formerly "change tracked" insertion of text content is splitted into two "change tracked" insertions by a later insertion of text content. Steps to reproduce the observation: - create new text document - insert a paragraph with some text - start/enable Change Tracking - insert more text to the paragraph - save and close the text document - open the text document as another user (change the user name in the options of the application before) - insert text right in the middle of the last inserted text - observe the tracked changes -- in AOO 3.4.1 via Menu - Edit - Changes - Accept or Reject -- in Microsoft Word 2012 e.g. via Review - Reviewing Pane - Reviewing Pane vertically --> the former insertion is splitted into two insertions which can be independently accepted or rejected. What do you think about such an behavior?
