OK. I just thought you agreed that putting all the field logic (the 
resource URIs and parameters) outside the content may not be the best 
idea.

That existing fields in ODF don't contain that information in content 
is a function of the fact that those fields are really simple, and 
fixed. What we are providing here is a much more powerful -- custom -- 
field option, so it makes sense it will be a little more complex.

In any case, I'm happy to defer this decision until everything else is 
settled. Just so long as my use case can be adequately supported in 
1.2.
