Subject: [OT] broken threads (was: [office] Proposal forclarification, enhancement and normative examples for text:list andtext:numbered paragraphsin ODF1.2)
Hi Florian, On Friday, 2007-03-16 12:19:21 +0000, Florian Reuter wrote: > X-Mailer: Novell GroupWise Internet Agent 7.0.1 Is there any chance you could train that agent to create a proper References or In-Reply-To header? If not, could you please consider using a mailer agent that's more suited for mailing lists? Currently your mails break every thread you reply to. By luck other mailer agents will thread a few of your mails by subject, still loosing their position within the thread of course. With less luck (and when subjects slightly changed because of subject folding, which your tool doesn't seem to handle properly) your mails create a new top level thread. This all clutters the thread view in a most ugly way and makes it hard to follow the mailing list. Thanks for cooperating ;-) Eike -- OpenOffice.org Engineering at Sun: http://blogs.sun.com/GullFOSS
